The Chicano Music Festival (CMF) is designed as a living expression of identity where cross-generational audiences connect, ensuring that our culture is not only preserved but aggressively pushed forward. As we continue to expand and future-proof this movement, we are incredibly proud to announce that the San Diego-based independent hip-hop trio, The Invisible Panchos, have officially joined the CMF Executive Board.
The Invisible Panchos are not just musicians; they operate as a strictly self-contained creative and business ecosystem. They merge foundational boom-bap with high-art futurism, existentialism, and multi-dimensional storytelling. Their addition to the team represents a massive leap forward for the festival's intellectual and digital expansion.
Christopher "KILLcRey" Reyes & Gene Flo (Executive Architects): This duo oversees the "Evolution" of the CMF. They are responsible for building multi-dimensional narrative universes and high-art aesthetics. Their ultimate focus is on future-proofing the CMF by blending experimental soundscapes, immersive art, and tech-driven community service.
Eduardo "HipHop Eddie" Rangel (Director of Strategic Operations): A veteran of the festival circuit, Eddie brings elite operational muscle to the team. He oversees financial modeling, logistics, and corporate partnerships. He serves as the "artist whisperer" who translates massive, abstract visions into scalable, real-world business models.
We are a culture built by survivors who refuse to be erased, and we are constantly evolving. With The Invisible Panchos on board, we are actively evolving the festival’s legacy to include experimental art, tech integrations, and educational infrastructure.
